Free the Bears

Free the Bears Rescue center is located inside Kuang Si waterfalls and is free with your entrance to the falls. Once through the entrance and a short stroll away, you will come upon the Free the Bears rescue center. Each of the large enclosures has viewing platforms where you can observe the bears as they snooze and play with one another. The Free the Bears sanctuary provides a home to over forty-five Asiatic Black Bears that have been rescued or confiscated from poachers and illegal wildlife trade. At the moment, they are working hard on a new property so they can provide more housing for more bears in need. They do amazing work and continue to fight for these amazing animals every day. It’s worth noting Free the Bears do not receive any funding from the park. Thus, if you wish to support them, you will find a cash donation box or better yet, buy yourself a souvenir to take home with you.
